The current State Senator, Chad’s opponent in this race, has been in office for 16-years in the Utah State Legislature. The Senator’s voting record has continued to be more and more moderate over the years. During this campaign Chad has adhered to the campaign pledge he and his opponent both signed when they filed for the position of Utah State Senate. That pledge states that the voting record of a candidate for office is fair game.
Chad’s opponent, and his surrogates, have alleged Chad has distorted the Senators’ voting record and lied about how he has voted on key legislation during his tenure. These assertions are categorically false and easily proven so by going directly to the legislative website. However, the Senator is betting you will NOT do so.
In contrast to Chad’s revealing the Senator’s actual votes on legislation, the Senator, in violation of his pledge, has attacked him and his family personally. He has also spent more dollars in his efforts to be re-elected than the office pays in salary.
Below you will see the votes the Senator has taken and can go right to the Utah Legislative website to see that Chad’s campaign has represented the Senator's record accurately.
